What days do you deliver?
We deliver Monday to Saturday. We do not deliver on Sundays or Public Holidays. Special occasions such as Mother's Day may be an exception — contact us to discuss.
Can I choose a specific delivery date?
Yes! When placing your order, simply use the date picker to select the day you'd like your Box Bear delivered. We'll do our best to make it happen.
Interstate deliveries (outside Canberra/Queanbeyan): We deliver throughout Australia via Australia Post. Please allow 3–7 business days when selecting your delivery date.
Can I get my Box Bear delivered at a specific time?
Our couriers plan the most efficient route each day, so timed deliveries can sometimes be tricky. However, we're always happy to help — if you have a special arrangement, please email us at info@boxbears.com.au and we'll do our best.
When will my Box Bear arrive?
Our bears are dispatched in the morning. Delivery times are:
- Businesses: by 5pm
- Schools: by 3pm
- Residential addresses: by 6:30pm (this is rare)
You'll be notified by email or phone if there's any issue with your delivery.
Interstate deliveries via Australia Post will arrive within 3–7 business days from the date of posting.
Do you deliver Australia-wide?
Yes! We deliver throughout Australia. Local Canberra and Queanbeyan deliveries are handled by our own couriers. For all other locations across Australia, we ship via Australia Post. Please allow 3–7 business days for interstate delivery.
What happens if no one is home to receive the delivery?
Our couriers are the best! If no one is home, they'll leave your Box Bear in a safe spot where possible. If they've tucked it somewhere out of sight, they'll leave a calling card in the letterbox letting the recipient know where to find it. Our couriers do everything they can to ensure safe delivery.
Interstate deliveries via Australia Post will be handled in accordance with Australia Post's standard procedures.
Can I add a personalised message to my Box Bear?
Absolutely! Every Box Bear comes with a personalised message card. Simply add your message during checkout and we'll include it beautifully presented with your gift.
Can I change the bear in a hamper?
Yes! Many of our hampers allow you to swap the featured bear for another Box Bear. Simply note the name of the bear you'd like in the message section at checkout and we'll take care of the rest.
There's a problem with my order — what do I do?
Please email us as soon as possible at info@boxbears.com.au. We understand that sometimes plans change — a recipient leaves work early, is unwell, or has moved. We operate on quick turnaround times and ideally need 24 hours notice to change or cancel an order, but we'll always do our very best to accommodate you.
